Damping, Stiffness, and Repositioning (DSR) Ankle

Synchro Motion has developed a novel MPC ankle prosthesis that is able to adapt its behavior to ambulate across all terrains. The device has the ability to control the damping about the ankle joint as well as actively reposition itself during the swing phase, combining the benefits of multiple classes of currently available MPC ankles. This functionality is achieved while maintaining a small size and weight. The goal of this device is to provide safe and comfortable mobility to its users across all terrains and activities.
